If you are in town for the entire weekend, Historical Monroe and its environs hail these local attractions: The Navarre Anderson Trading Post, the River Raisin Battlefield and the Monroe County Historical Museum.

If you have the time to travel further, other downriver communities of Metro-Detroit have family friendly attractions: The Henry Ford, and others, once I remember some more! :o)
